Traditionally, Otomí designs depict symbols from their daily lives, particularly the flora and fauna of the region. On other occasions, such as the case in these tapestries, they show special celebrations or festivities.

The baile tapestry includes beautiful Otomí embroidered designs that feature both flora and fauna such as flowers, rabbits, birds, centering on a joyful occasion, a baile, or dance. In the center, you can appreciate the band with three musicians and two couples (one on each side) dancing to their music. Truly, a stunning piece of art!
